We took a trip to Golden Putter Mini Golf in St Nicholas' Park in Warwick.

Everything was very well set up in terms of markings for socially distanced queues.

Although the park itself was busy we had no wait to get to the automated pay machine. We were 3 adults and 2 children which cost £23.20. That was a family ticket plus one adult ticket.

After paying we were given putters which were cleaned for us and we picked out our own card and pencil to record the scores.

There was clear signage to not move to the next hole until it was empty, which everyone followed. It felt less like the family behind were breathing down your neck, as can be the case in 'normal' times.

All of the flags have been removed from the holes as a COVID measure and the holes are filled in to be shallow so that you don't have to reach in to pick your ball up. This worked really well as a safety measure.

There were some fun and frustrating holes and a few hole in one flukes. It took us just over an hour to play all 18 holes.

At the end of the round, the putters went into a bucket to soak and you exit on the opposite side to those entering.

All outdoors, no need to book and it felt very safe and was easy to social distance.

Would recommend for Primary School age and upwards.
